Public Input Notice 8/12/2020

Hidalgo County will hold two public input meetings regarding the Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan 2022-2026(ICIP). County staff will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding future capital projects. The meetings will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the Hidalgo County Commission Chambers Meeting Room, 305 Pyramid St, Lordsburg, NM.

Notice of Intentant: ORDINANCE 2020-03 Hidalgo County Roads

Notice of Intent to adopt Ordinance 2020-03 Hidalgo County Roads Ordinance on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 5:30 PM.  The draft document is available for public inspection in the County Manager’s Office and on the county website .  A copy of the proposed ordinance can also be obtained by requesting one by e-mailing or calling 575-542-9428.  If the public would like to submit comments, questions and/or concerns in reference to the proposed ordinance please submit those to the County Manager’s Office:

Zoning & Permitting Information

Hidalgo County doesn’t currently have any zoning or permitting ordinances in place. You will have to follow state permitting rules and regulations. If you have any questions call the Manager’s Office at (575) 542-9428.
